News:
A new pattern is up in the shop – the Sock Yarn Bags (see the first two photos at left). This one has been a long time in the making, but the resulting pattern contains the instructions for two different bags as well as a lining tutorial (previously published in this newsletter). These bags are really fun to make, and a good use for selfstriping sock yarns in crochet!
A new issue of Interweave Crochet is on the newsstands. I’ve contributed two patterns to this issue – the Fireside Pullover (photo no 3) and the Mitered Squares Scarf (photo no 4). The magazine also contains an article by me on assembling garments – the sequel to my seaming article in the previous issue
A new year:
Perhaps not suprisingly for those who have followed me for the past few years, I have lots and lots of plans for the new year! I look forward to pursuing them, and will be happy to tell you about them as they unfold.
For the time being, I just want to wish you all the best for the new year. Even if outer circumstances may seem difficult, I very strongly believe we can make the best of this year, provided that we keep our enthusiasm glowing and that we take care of each other.
As I did last year, I want to give you a modest gift in the shape of a crochet calendar for 2009 (pdf-file). Just click the link below and you can save or print the calendar directly (photos are always best printed on photo paper).
And, by popular demand, a link to the jigsaw puzzle previously published on my blog: Sock Yarn Bag Puzzle.
Thank you for your interest in my work. It means the world to me!
See you soon!
